I had the unfortunate experience of breaking down on Route 50, and when I queried the towing company if they recommended a shop, they towed my vehicle to Chesapeake Auto. Tyrone called me and in the absolute kindest way, gave me the worst news I could imagine, that I needed a new engine, and even went ahead and priced out what repairs might cost. I ended up deciding to donate the car to a non-profit and arranged for pick up. When I went to retrieve my personal belongings, the shop had a buffet of food set up for Thanksgiving and customers were urged to have a plate, further taking the sting off what could've been an absolutely miserable experience. The shop was clean and everyone just as nice as they could be. I'd recommend this shop in a heartbeat!

10/10 Recommend Chesapeake Auto Repair Service for your car needs. My parents and I were driving form out of town and our Hyundai car engine failed (currently recalled). Chesapeake Auto helped to put us at ease and gave us a proper diagnostic. The owner helped us figure out our best options to finish the trip and even called the dealership to help us solidify the repairs at the dealership for FREE. Clean space, great hospitality and service. 100% would recommend and if we ever have car issues in the area again, we would come back to this shop only!!

This repair business is magical! The owner and his staff were top notch caring expert professionals. I was traveling on a Saturday back home to North Carolina when my car started having trouble. I knew it was not safe to drive 312 more miles. I googled mechanic near me and their shop was .3 miles away and open. Their kindness, the reasonable and necessary repair, got me back home safely, with no more issues. Without them, I would have been stuck and quite sad. I had a flat tire today and they were incredibly kind and helpful. They quickly put on a spare tire for me. I really appreciate their honesty and generosity — it’s rare to find this kind of customer care these days. Highly recommend this shop! And thank you so much!!
