I took my V6 Jeep to Christian Brothers Automotive for a EVAP System leak that should have been a fairly straightforward repair. What started as a reasonable quote somehow turned into a $2,400 bill after they kept adding more things. The biggest issue was the spark plug replacement. I was charged $165 for parts (it needed 6) and around $600 in labor to replace spark plugs on a V6 engine. Total was $794 for SPARK PLUGS!!! Even with inflation, nowhere charges that much for spark plugs. That alone should have been a red flag. Just google spark plug replacement cost. What’s worse is that I later discovered the spark plugs were never actually changed. They were still the same ones that were in the Jeep when I bought it. Paying hundreds of dollars for work that wasn’t done is unacceptable. I

I will never have my car serviced here in again. When you pay 2500 for “authorized repairs” and have more problems on your vehicle afterwards, you connect the dots. You listen very carefully to what the service rep is explaining what’s wrong “this time.” You view the estimate photos. You have another outside professional look at the “service photos” and assess. You log an exact timeline of when you noticed things went wrong the moment you leave their shop. I’ve been around a long time, work in Law Enforcement, read behavior patterns, pinpoint words for and accountability and conflicting signals. Honesty for most of us means a lot. With joyful tears I can say that the christian brothers has this quality. The other place that I have been taking my car back and forth to not only took my money by everything " I " said I thought was wrong with my vehicle, I incurred debt my using my credit card. One day I passed Christian Brothers & thought, that's where I'll bring my car one day. We'll, it has been in there possession twice, on what " I " thought was an issue. They tested & checked it and talked with me, giving explanations I can understand. I'm here to tell you all, this is the company that you want to handle your baby.... the car.
