Jay was honest with me about repairs needed. He got me scheduled quickly and saved me over half of the cost quoted by a chain company.

Before my uncle passed away, he was a lifetime mechanic known, loved and trusted by countless in kearney. Uncle Gary recommended city auto as the only person he thought was the best and most honest in kearney to do about anything that needed to be fixed, and was he ever right! Jay will shoot you straight, and is as honest as they come. Great service, great work, at a reasonable price. You just can't go wrong if you go to City Auto.

Jay is the best mechanic in town. He's definitely NOT a rip-off and meets all your needs and answers all your questions. Prices are reasonable. 10/10 would recommend to anyone needing auto repairs of any sort.

I would not recommend this business at all. First they do not return phone calls, you have to continuously try and call them back until you finally get someone who answers. I was having problems with my van and we have used this place for years so it was just natural to go back to what we know. But that was a mistake, he calls and tells me that an oil change will fix the problems I was having, but he was very wrong. I called him back after he did the oil change and I took the van home with me and no one answered so I left a message, no call back, I called back the next day, left a message, no call back. Finally on the third day someone finally answered the phone and I informed him that the oil change did NOT fix the problem. He tells me he will look up parts and see what it will cost and h
