I am so thrilled to know that Collin at CKO Repairs always has my back with fair, quick, and worry free service. Athena is always so welcoming at the front and on the phone. I could not recommend them more. They go out of their way to make what can be a horrible day (due to a breakdown) to a great day by treating you well and getting you back on the road.

We recently moved to the area, and it is always hard to find a mechanic that you can trust. we have used CKO repairs, on Ridge Road in Oak Ridge three times now. We have found them honest, reliable, and taking care of our car quickly and efficiently. Recently I sent my car to put in an automatic start, and they called me saying I already had one, they offered to drive my car to the house if I could drive them back, and showed me how to use it. Ashley, who runs the front office was very kind when I forgot the original appointment because of a death in the family. Not only has she mentioned her sadness that I had lost a family member, but she mentioned it again today two weeks later when I picked up my car. Easily the best repair shop, no question about it. I went in with a really loud noise while driving. I was told by a supposed expert that it was a major transmission issue and that if I didnt fix it for 4k soon I'd be out of a car. I couldn't accept that outcome, the cars only worth about 5-7k as is. I went to CKO for a second opinion. Pretty quickly I got a call from Dan over at CKO telling me that the transmission is actually in good shape all things considered, and that the crack and leak they alleged it had didn't exist. The real problem? A few things unclipped that were digging into my wheel well. Dan and Colin worked together to identify the real issue while thoroughly examining the alleged issue and ruling it out, all in amazing time. They added the clips, and the noise was gone.

Colin and Pat have been wonderful and very helpful in diagnosing and fixing all the various problems with our older vehicles. (Which we have a few…and all have made their way to CKO) Their honest assessments and skilled expertise have been valuable and very much appreciated!
