Claremont Auto Care

I was referred to Claremont Auto Care by a friend. I have been going here for over 5 years. They do a really great job and are very honest and fair. I feel very comfortable doing business with them.

I have been taking my car here for years. I can shears trust this guys to be honest and look out for my best interest. The owner Mike is a great person and cares about his customers. Jeff and Brian are good people too. You never have to worry about getting ripped off here. I promise!

I went to these guys in a pinch. (Not my usual mechanic). My alternator went out, I requested coolant and breaks to be checked as well. Guy at the front desk seems pretty cool, he called me the next day “yeah your alternator, a battery and the coolant will be a little over $1,100. Your breaks were checked, they’re fine, you can get those done another time”. Alright cool, they were prompt quick and seemed honest over the phone. But I told the guy right then and there “hey, no battery, I can buy my own” the battery he was quoting me was like $250. I can get one at Costco for $140 with a longer warranty. Guy affirmed my request over the phone “yeah that’s fine!” I come in a day later (their service is prompt which is great) but now a different guy is there at the front desk to ring me out an

I was able to get a next day appointment, which was great. I was referred here by a friend so it was my first time going here so it's always a little hard not knowing if you're in good hands. I needed all brakes replaced and two new rotors, this I knew (most woman don't and can get "upsold") so they didn't try to throw in something I didn't need. Overall, I'm happy with the service!

I had high hopes for this place since it's very close to where I live, but sadly, their customer service was a huge letdown. They lost my keys before they could even start looking at the car, and left me two voicemails panicking over the lost keys. So when I called back, Jeff, treated me like I was the problem and made a veiled threat that maybe they'll get to work on my car in a month or so, making it very clear how annoyed with me he was. Mind you, they lost my car key. The stress of them having to pay for a key repair did not translate to any sort of apology to me, and Jeff transferred all that stress onto me, the customer. I had to deliver a new spare key to them. The other customer whose car they lost my keys in was kind enough to bring them back. Lucky for them. Jeff's tone finally c
