Classic Collision

I used this repair shop after being referred there by insurance. They claim to be a star USAA provider and I had high hopes. I will NEVER use this location again. Their communication is nonexistent and created an extremely frustrating process. My repair required four trips and one month to complete, mostly because they didn’t do it right the first time. Longer story/details below. First, I dropped my car off for an estimate early Monday morning. I wait 3 days for an estimate (I was told it’d take 45 mins to an hour, but I’m being patient), call Thursday to check in. Estimator calls me back later that day with an estimate - clearly only after my prompting. I have two windows that need replacing after a break-in. My first time using this location and let me just start off with I’m highly impressed. The shop had my car estimated and torn down immediately after dropping it off, kept me up to date and informed. I had expected to be without my car for 2+ weeks and had it back to me in a week! All of the staff were pleasant from answering my calls to in person there at the shop. I like most people are skeptical of auto repair shops but the ethics of this shop blows my mind and I can say that they are ethical and honest people here. Before dropping my vehicle off I thought I checked to make sure I had gotten all valuables out of my car, I ended up leaving some cash (not small change) in my car not realizing it. I would recommend Classic Collision on Pelham Parkway to any and all family, friends, and strangers. They not only did a terrific job fixing the entire passenger side panel and bumper, but they ended up replacing the light casing and grill, which was only minor damage (student driver parking incident). They took care of everything through our Farmer's insurance and I had my car back in two weeks (whereas, other places said it would take months just to get an appointment and then weeks to get the parts needed). Also, they completely detailed the outside and inside. I couldn't be more pleased with their excellent customer service and performance. I feel like my 9+ yr old Impala is brand new!

I have never been so disappointed. Took my truck by on Dec 20th to get it looked at. They told me they were going to order my front qtr panel. We scheduled the job for December 30th. Called me on Jan 6th and said the part was 3 weeks back ordered. No response to why they didn't order on the 20th. Just said i wanted to pick up my truck gave them an entire day to put it back on. Showed up at 8am on the 8th to pick up and nobody was there. had to come back at 10am because they forgot to put it back on. Received with wires cut, wheel guard on both sides hanging off or missing, writing on the side of my truck in marker. And then the tech cussed me out when i questioned it. This is a back woods body shop. BEWARE!!! I strongly recommending you not use them.

The work done on my car was perfection. The staff was friendly and informative. I received texts periodically on the progress of the work. My car was returned to me washed, vacuumed, and with Weathertech floor mats steam cleaned.
