You can’t go wrong with Cloakworks. I had them install a 3.5" MetalCloak Game Changer lift along with several other upgrades on my new JLU 392, and the work was done exceptionally well. What really sets them apart is that they stand behind their work and consistently go above and beyond expectations. I’ve trusted them with my Jeep, and I’ll continue to take it there for any future work. Highly recommended.

My experience at Cloakworks is exactly what everyone fears when taking their vehicle to a mechanic—I felt completely taken advantage of and ripped off. TL;DR: When I first called to schedule, Scott told me I’d need to wait two weeks until he got back in town because his crew wouldn’t know how to handle what I needed. That made me think he really knew his stuff, so I decided to wait and not call other shops. Looking back, and based on how the job turned out, I’m convinced the work wasn’t even done by someone experienced. I originally brought my vehicle in to have my winch & stereo inspected. 2/11/25 update: I filed a dispute with my CC and had the purchase 100% refunded. Chase agreed that no services were correctly rendered. Jeep is still leaking worse than before, choose anywhere but CW4x4. Summary: paid $795 for CW to fix my 2016 Wrangler's leaking roof; roof leaks worse than before, panels + bolts are now damaged. I brought my Jeep in for a diagnostic (leaking roof) in which they determined my seals on my hard top all needed to be replaced, even though I shared that I replaced the main seal already and that didn't help. They scheduled my appointment for a week or so later; on the morning of my appointment on my way out (I live 1.25 hours away), I called to see how long things would take, they shared the parts hadn't come in and they needed to reschedule. Our 4x4 group was on the way to run the Rubicon Trail and had a breakdown on the highway with a Frankenstein jeep build. We were stuck in the parking lot at an auto parts store trying to diagnose the problems and had no luck. Our group leader Tony contacted this company and talked with them about getting diagnostic equipment in order to plug into our jeep. They were extremely helpful and friendly allowing us to use one of their computers to diagnose issues on our jeep in order to get the club moving forward. We had a group of Jeeps out from Colorado to run the Rubicon Trail. We had one of our Jeeps run into an issue. The Team at Cloak Works 4X4 went out of there way to help us out! Very knowledgeable and great shop!! Highly recommend!!
