Clores Automotive Repair

I was in a bind. Here, out of town, heat advisory, and my car's AC went out. My husband (who was back at home) called several shops around town asking for help and all the others didn't have time or even seem knowledgeable. They agreed to see me once I arrived. And Dave, whom my husband spoke with, took my car immediately and tested everything he could. They were super busy. All bays full and customers arriving as I waited. Dave did a great job finding the problem and educating me on how to handle it. There wasn't much he could do for it while I was in town. But helped me to understand how to get thru my time visiting. Then he says, no charge! I highly recommend them. All the staff we encountered were friendly. You can tell they are a local favorite. Dave was great and very knowledgeable

Took my car there for a cv axel replacement, got the car back and it was leaking fluid from the cv seal, took it back said it was repaired paid money and the transmission took a crap driving it home. Called the location and they said they were not at fault. I do not recommend this place to anyone.

My wife was travelling through the area when her AC stopped working, and that's a serious matter for her. Dave was willing to fit her in within 3 hours of closing. Diagnosed an issue we can fix later, and charged her nothing. This was a great experience, especially relative to the other mechanics nearby that don't act as professional and were not willing to fit her in.

I'm a transplant to the area and Clores was recommended to service my car. While you may wait a day or two to get your vehicle in, they are worth the short wait. Professional, honest and reasonable. It can be hard for a girl to find a knowledgeable mechanic and a very good one at that. The CVT was replaced in my Nissan which had been a fleet rental at less than 39k (when I bought it) so I had my doubts of reliability vs nickel and dimming me.

Taking your car in for repairs shouldnt be a nightmare. If it is, you didnt go to Clores. My family and I have been taking our cars here for years. Even when my parents moved, they will go out of their way to have their cars worked on by Mr. Clore. Very personable and a bit cheaper on his rates than most all the shops in town. He does not do tires but can usually get you in with a nearby shop that does. Clores always seems to go that extra mile to help and it is very good business practice.
