Clydes Tire & Brake

If i could give negative ratings i would. I took a vehicle to clydes and dropped it off with Don (who isn't even a mechanic) and asked for a diagnostic to figure out a misfire after replacing the injectors and several sensors . I asked him to call me when he found anything out and give me a price. I left the vehicle and called a few hours later to check and was told im putting injectors in right now... I asked how much that would cost and told him the injectors were under warranty. I was met with attitude and told come get it. I was blamed for my attitude. Called and spoke to the owner and arranged to bring it back to actually try to fix it. We all try to do business locally so when I had a roofing tack in my tire rather than drive 10 miles to my regular shop I thought I would give the local Waldo shop my business but it's hard when they try to take advantage of you. Just needed a tire plugged but they insisted I needed a new tire and refused to plug or patch it. Went down the road to another very reputable tire company and got a plug and was good as new. $15.00 v/s $60 for the used tire they wanted to sell me. They get one star simply because they are breathing but no more business from me. Husbands beware of sending your wife there they will try to take advantage of her.

Was traveling from Tampa to Jacksonville for work when I had a tire blow out. I was in the middle of no where and called 9 other tire places to see if they had my size tire used. This was the only place even remotely close with my size tire. After a long wait for a tow, he had my blown tire off, new tire mounted and balanced, and put back on my truck in under 20min. Thanks for bringing some positivity to my day. Highly recommend if anywhere near Waldo. Excellent prices too!

They are nothing short of a blessing. I’ve never had mechanics that I trust so much. They did major repairs and even texted pictures that showed how bad the parts were. They also will work with you if you want to purchase your own parts and if you don’t the try and hunt down affordable ones. I’m gushing but I need to share how trustworthy and awesome they are. We live about 30 minutes away and there is no way our cars will ever go to a different shop. Basically what I’m saying is I highly recommend them!
