Coastal Auto Performance is hands down one of the best automotive shops I’ve ever dealt with. The team is knowledgeable, honest, and truly cares about doing the job right. They took the time to explain everything, answered all my questions, and never tried to upsell or pressure me. The quality of work is top-notch, turnaround time was great, and the pricing was fair. It’s hard to find a shop you can actually trust, but Coastal Auto Performance has earned it. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending them to anyone who needs reliable, professional auto work.

I had been going thru reviews looking for a shop I could trust to leave my car for maintenance work when I found coastal performance repair. I had I intended to stop by to meet them when I discovered a issue with a oil light and finding online that it could be a serious problem so I texted coastal b4 they were open, he promptly replied and in no time they were at my job and within minutes had the problem solved ! This is a photo of my car. The sentimental value exceeds any monetary cost; I'm very particular who I trust leaving it with but meeting them I've already begun scheduling. These guys are honest, professional and at your service. I'm looking forward to having them as my mechanics and Highly recommend them!

They were very knowledgeable and helpful (and just plain nice!), and were able to quickly diagnose my 4Runner's issue starting - a heat-soaked fuel pump. They knew they wouldn't be able to get a replacement part in before I needed to leave the coast to drive home to Utah a couple days later, but felt very confident I could make it home even with the damaged pump (and without damaging anything else by driving it that way). It's an issue one of the mechanics had lots of personal experience with, and while they did my oil change, they explained exactly what was happening so I could predict when my 4Runner would want to have trouble starting, how to get around this to make it start reliably, and what to do if I messed up and forgot to give it gas at the right time. They were totally right, as

They didn’t just fix my kid’s car quickly, they went above and beyond, taking the time to explain everything and even doing a few extra things without hesitation. It’s so rare these days to find someone who is both skilled and genuinely trustworthy. We won’t go to anyone else from here on out.
