Bobby was referred to me by my marina. And they were spot-on! I had a bow thruster motor failure. Bobby quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem in one visit. Solid communication throughout, before/during/after the repairs. He even checked out a few additional system issues i was having on the boat while he was there. He's at the top of my list now to address next problem that may come up on my Back Cove.

Bobby has fixed multiple issues on my 45’ sail boat. Everything from hvac to mechanical issues. He is honest and his service is prompt. As a new boat owner I was very lucky to find Coastal Marine Engineering my first year on the water. Thanks to Bobby I can be confident in the safety and reliability of my sail boat. We were referred to Bobby via New England Boat works. We had to trust the process and felt fairly comfortable with the recommendation but I am glad our Captain was able to over see the project! they used a torch with out eye care and did not have an Fire Extinguisher! The young guys.. worked hard.. but they didn’t do what they say they would do, they said they would be there at 8:00 and and they didn’t show up until 10:00 and then after out Captain worked side by side with the staff we received a bill for 36 hours for 22 hours of WORK! We know how many hours of work as our captain was participating in the job! We are still be OVER billed for the job We have Cameras that show the Staff and their time at our job and still cannot believe they are over charging us!

Oil contaminated with raw water on the 350ci engine in my Grady White left me out of service dockside...a quick call to Coastal Marine Engineering and I was on the schedule. Bobby was able to get me in three days earlier than my scheduled date and showed up on time and as he said! His knowledge and experience is second to none, and in a few short hours he changed my intake gaskets, flushed the engine and changed the oil, tuned the motor, and had me back on the water to enjoy my summer with the boat running better than ever! Coastal Marine Engineering is my go-to mechanic on my Volvo diesel engine and on my Cummings-Onan diesel generator. I’ve used them for the past 3 years to service my 2016 Ranger Tug and the work has always been done correctly using OEM parts.
