I rarely leave public reviews, but I feel obligated to warn others about my experience with Continental Tire & Auto in Anchorage. When I initially brought my vehicle in, I was told—repeatedly and confidently—that they would help facilitate a warranty repair I needed. This assurance was a major factor in my decision to spend thousands of dollars at their shop. They knew this was a key issue for me and consistently reassured me that they would handle it. After the work was done and I had paid, the promises continued for weeks. I was told multiple times that they were working on it, following up, or would get back to me soon. The entire service I received was 5 stars! They’re very responsive! I was in desperate need of tires, and Shawn was able to get me in within the hour of our phone call. Lilly and the tech were super helpful, informative and kept me updated throughout the process. They did a free inspection on top of my original tire service as well! Definitely recommending and will I be coming back.

Time and time again, Lily at the front has come in clutch for me. Whether it was squeezing me in for an appointment in an emergency, getting me the best prices, amazing customer service, and overall being literally the best person I’ve met in the automotive industry. I have been a loyal customer for years, but will not be going back after my last experience. On 10/17/2024 I dropped off my car for an oil change. They recommended that my rear brakes & rotors be done for $500. I agreed as my braking had felt a little "spongy". After picking it up my car was taking around 4 car lengths to stop. I brought it back in and was told for $200 more they would bleed the brakes. Disgusted & disappointment that after years of loyalty I will have to find a new mechanic with integrity and ability to fix what I've already paid for.

Please please don’t bring your car to them. They will scam you and ruin your car. I bought four new tires last week but they broke my wheel studs and asking me $200 dollars. I brought my car to them in good condition and they broke it. The staff are so rude specially Clyde. I will never go back to them.
