Costco Tire Centre

Service is always horrible. Had a simple tire rotation appointment for 9am, I got there at 8:45 and waited 15 minutes in line until being called up. They don't care how long you stand there, and leave the desk to disappear for minutes whereby there's no one there to man the place. I booked in late October and the earliest date was mid-November; and I get it - people are getting new Winter tires or swapping out summer ones, so they're busy. But the customer service SUCKS in Abby, and there's no consequence. I'll gladly pay more for my tires elsewhere if only to trade for better service somewhere else.

Do not trust the appointment system at the Abbotsford Costco Tire Centre. It is completely meaningless. Last week I booked a time slot, showed up on time, and waited **over two hours** while literally nothing happened to my vehicle. No updates, no communication. Frustrated, and because my schedule would not allow me to wait any longer, I rescheduled for the very next week, first appointment of the day, thinking that would guarantee they’d be ready. Nope. Arrived at 8:15am as requested and still waited a full extra hour before anyone even looked at my car. This isn’t a one-off. The place is constantly running way behind, and you can tell that this is normal for the staff. I even heard a staff member state that this is the same everyday. Absolutely terrible, Costco needs to do better. I came in for a tire repair for a slow leak. My appointment was first thing in the morning and they said it would be done in 1.5 hours. 2.5 hours later they hadn’t even started. They said they were “just running behind”. They only have one guy working at the desk, so it took over 20 minutes just to talk to someone. Another 30 minutes later and they tell me they can’t fix it and I have to buy a new tire. That’s fine. But they couldn’t tell me how much I would have to pay for the tire. I guess I’ll just wait and see? Staff were nice and working hard, but they are clearly understaffed and unhappy with their management.

I had a 6:00 PM appointment for a tire change at Costco, and as required, I arrived by 5:45 PM. The technician took my keys around 6:00 PM and assured me that the service would be completed in about 1 hour, and definitely no more than 1.5 hours. However, it took them much longer. I checked in after 1.5 hours, and the same technician told me the delay was because the manager hadn’t properly scheduled the shift, and only two people were working. I completely understood and sympathized with the two technicians who were clearly working hard under pressure. At 8:00 PM—2 full hours later—I noticed my car was done, with the winter tires placed inside. I'm here to get my new tires put on my vehicle. My scheduled appointment seemed on schedule. Haven’t seen the finished product yet but I’m now at a 2+hr wait time and been told it will take 15-20min twice. Should have read the reviews - not the first person to complain about wait times. Service is definitely better at other tire shops.
