Costco Tire Service Center

The used to have good customer service but last two visits have been extremely slow. Be prepared to wait way past the quoted wait time even with an appointment. I was told 1 and a half hour and then I ended up waiting an additional hour. I also had the same experience a few months ago. They don’t even call or update you that they are running behind.

I’ve bought several tires from here and the employees are nice. However, the wait time each time is usually +2hrs even with an appointment.

I've been coming here for YEARS to get my tires. The past year has been the worst. I get new tires and I wanted my spare checked. I was told they couldn't take it down because my lock was stripped. I was able to take it down when I got home, the installer was lazy. I had TMPS issue. I get it replaced but my light was still on before I left. I asked a tech, he told me drive 5-10 minutes and it will clear. The light did not clear after 30 minutes of non-stop driving. I come back two days later to fix the issue. Come to find out the installer FAILED to unlock the sensor, which is a SOP. I was there for TWO HOURS the first time only for to come back and spend more time getting it fixed. I did get an apology.

Costco tire years ago was great, these days they are absolutely the worst, I purchased four new tires and they were expensive, comes with a mileage warranty and free tire rotation so I decided to pay the high prices. It only took 2 hours to get them installed. 6000 miles later I go to drop off the vehicle for the rotation and get told I must make an appointment. I leave and make an appointment for another day. Show up and wait in line for 15 minutes and get told they may not take me in as I am 15 minutes late. May I remind you I was on time and waiting for 15 minutes. Management approved the appointment and waited again 2 hours. It’s a hassle and takes several hours no matter what they have to do. I own 8 vehicles and not one of them will ever get tires at Costco again.

Very poor customer service! Management really needs to take a close look at the employee attending to customers. After waiting a few minutes, he walked in without acknowledging me or saying a word. He got on his computer and still said nothing. I had planned to buy 4 tires today—04/29/25 around 1-1:30pm but after this kind of service, I just decided to leave. The employee still didn’t say a single word! Costco in Duncanville used to have much better service. I told a manager about my bad experience, but honestly, it didn’t seem like he cared either.
