Costco Tire Service Center

After seeing a lot of rough experiences in the reviews I was worried because the service seemed hit or miss, but I had a pleasant experience. I got a new set of tires for my Toyota Corolla at a reasonable price; I ordered them in person where they said it could take anywhere from 2-5 days to arrive, but the next day they called to let me know the tires had already arrived. When they called me it was very easy to set an appointment for the same day, and when I came in for my appointment they completed the service fairly quickly (only about 45 minutes). The only setback for me was that they never seem to answer the phones (I also watched them ignore the phones when I was there in person), so if you have any kind of question you’d have to go in person and wait in line because even when I let

I went in for a balance and rotation on tires bought from and previously installed by Costco. It appears they only balanced one tire out of the four. Only one wheel had new weights. The rest had their odl weights on. Unless they balanced my wheels beforehand and three of theme were perfectly balanced (which I doubt), then they only balanced one of my four wheels. I forgot to mark my wheels to confirm they did a rotation, so who's to say if they actually rotated my tires. Safe to say, i will not be coming back to this location again. Will try my luck at Leesburg for another balance.

I brought 4 Bridgestone tires in 2023 from Costco with store recommendations for daily driving under 50miles per day in Northern Virginia, the tire got bubble after one year, brought car to Costco, they reported wearing 70% of tire depth, had refunded $18, to change to whole 2 tires. Yesterday my wife blowed out and almost had an accident on route 28. Tire was totally gone when I found her car in middle of highway. We came back to Costco, they recommended to change two wheels again and told us $48 warranty discount. We asked for accuracy check for the depth or wheel which checked 6/10 finally got on 50% on a replacement for 1 tire. Normally I don’t have a problem with Costco’s Tire Center but today it was terrible! I called days ahead to schedule an appointment to service my car. The appointment time was 12:15pm. My mom took my car in for me. From the get go the lady at the counter was rude to her. Over an hour later she went up to the counter to ask for an update and they told her that because she is a “walk in” she has to wait at least 2 hours. Apparently the lady checked her in as a walk in and not a scheduled appointment!! She ended up waiting for over 1 hour for a check up that took 20 minutes. They didn’t even apologize for their error.

Made an appointment for 10am, arrived about 10 minutes early. Went straight through the main entrance to the tire service center. Spoke with a technician (Leslie, very helpful) working the front desk. Gave them my keys and they gave me a cone to put on the vehicle. Looking at reviews on here, I expected it to take at least 2 hours. It took 40 minutes. I walked around Costco, bought some cutting boards, and sat down in the food court area. By the time I started looking at my phone, I got the message the vehicle was ready. I guess only people who complain come here to review, because I had a fantastic visit without any complaints.
