I drove 12 HOURS to look at a vehicle at Croft Auto Sales. Taylor knew that I was coming from this far. He said the truck was mechanically sound, in great shape, just needed a set of tires. He provided great service to get everything arranged ahead of time, and I was convinced that he had my best interest in mind with this truck. Once I arrived, I immediately realized that this was NOT the case. There was a lot more cosmetic damage than I knew about, which I could have dealt with, but the amount of blatant mechanical issues were a deal-breaker. Bought the vehicles about a month and a half ago. Drove roughly 2 hours. On the way back the check engine light came on which was the first red flag. Had it checked and it was the evp valve which was roughly $180. Had several wiring issues that cost me around $150 to fix. Well today I was on my way to Branson to propose well long and behold a ticking started. I pulled over and vehicle shut off. One more thing I’d like to add is the oil sticker said oil change at 106k I’m currently at 104k. After an $80 dollar tow we find out there was zero oil in the vehicle. Another $30 dollars just for a clicking to start. The rod is completely gone. I now have to get a new motor or have someone rebuilt it which will cost anywhere from 5k to 10k for a vehicle that shouldn’t cost that much. So in total a

Rude. That truly sums up the interaction. Went to check out one car seen online- when that was not as expected, would have considered other possible suggestions, but obviously this dealership is less concerned about customer service and more concerned with what seems to be an ego that apparently got struck the wrong way simply by not being interested in the first vehicle asked for. Wes immediately turned to return to the office without so much as a word. I asked, with his back to me, how much another vehicle on the lot was listed for, spouted price without even looking back, not even pausing for my reply, and proceeded to his safe space in the office.
