Originally went in for a quote through my insurance for hitting a deer with my truck and after receiving on site quote and many questions about the repair that needed to be done was answered and the fact the folks were very welcoming, I decided to schedule my repairs with them. The repairs did take a little longer than originally expected but that was warned as extra things were found to be damaged and not right and the wait was absolutely worth it. I was very impressed in the color match of my black truck absolutely perfect match and they did a remarkable job on the body work and very happy on all the gaps on the panels. I’ve had friend’s and family at other body shops never seem to get body panel gaps right. These guys take pride and it shows. It does not leave unless the boss man checks

We had such a great experience with Custom Refinishing by Byrd. They were professional, quick, and did an amazing job on our truck. You can really tell they care about the quality of their work. They also cleaned the entire inside of the truck, that was a nice surprise and a huge plus! If we ever need work done again, we will definitely be going back to them. Hail storm wrecked my car Jan 2024, had it originally repaired NOT by Custom Refinishing By Byrd (because I wasn't aware they existed yet!!!) but by a "major San Antonio collision shop". That "major San Antonio collision shop" did a shady, piss poor job on the repairs, took over 3 months to do the bad repairs & left me with a "repaired" vehicle decorated with paint drips, welts and dents all over the body of the car after the paint job had settled plus extra car rental costs (because insurance only covers 60 days and they went well past that alloted time). Fast-forward - Dec, 2025 - deer wishes me a Merry Christmas by colliding into my car on hwy 16. Custom Refinishing By Byrd was recommended to me, and this is when I first met Dustin Byrd.
