Cypress Village

I am sorely disappointed in Cypress Village. My mom stayed there for a temporary rehabilitation period and she was declining before my eyes! They had her in a corner room at the end of a long hall where the door kept opening as people entered and exited whipping Frigid air into her room, while they had the AC pumping. My mom has lung cancer and was hospitalized for pneumonia and this is how they treated her! She had diarrhea for over a week and all they did was give her Imodium AD for one day and point the fingers that no one told them that she had diarrhea for that long. They did not test her for C. Diff. One day she was rushed to Mayo Clinic and thank God she was! She was in fact positive for C. Diff and needed antibiotics right away! She also had a tremendous amount of o2 in her body an

Cypress Village Rehabilitation is the preeminent rehab facility in northeast Florida. I fought hard to be released to their care after open heart surgery. My goals were to increase strength, stamina and confidence without any secondary infections, blood clots or pneumonia. The staff from housekeeping to administration were professional, compassionate and exceeded expectations. They provided a safe space where I was able to heal and grow strong. My favorite teams were Physical Therapy (thanks to Andy, Lisa, Claudia and Toni) and Dining Services (thanks to Lamont Green, Nutritionist and Kitchen Staff). The daily menus are well thought out and provide many options including an "Always Available Substitution Menu". The food was more than palatable; it was flavorful and prepared with pride. Wo

I will forever be grateful for the staff at CV AL in helping us out with our mom for the last year and a half. My mom is quite difficult, and the AL staff — in particular, Elizabeth Morton, Jessica Briand, and the rest of the Health and Wellness folks in addition to the nursing staff — bent over backwards to work with us to provide a nice quality of life for our mom, which can be challenging. We all live out of state, and they were patient, communicative, and caring, and met each challenge with a positive — albeit realistic, pragmatic — attitude. I can only imagine how much more difficult our journey with our mom would have been without them.

Phenomenal experience with Cypress Village and the entire staff. My mom took a fall and the care she received was beyond excellent. Thank you so much to the team that helped navigate an not great situation and bring her quickly back up, both in spirit and physically. We are so grateful!
