Update: John continued to show he was genuine - after earning my trust from visit 1, I had him replace the parts needed on my car. He's truly a good guy. I'm convinced he's a master at his craft, he's humble, he enjoys talking with people, I'll do business with him again. DJ's- John the owner has been there 16 years. No name changed. Today I was prepared to replace my alternator. He ran the diagnostics and confirmed no issue. I replaced my car battery a week ago, so it made sense to be the alternator. Anyone could have charged me for it and made $$$ John did not. In fact he made no profits from me today. Didn't ask for this google review. Simply operates with integrity and does the right thing. John is honest and fair. He genuinely enjoys working on cars, and we have been happy with his service after EVERY visit. Due to scheduling, I recently took my car to another place (the Detroit Garage). They charged double the price and botched up my brakes, leading to them needing replaced 6 months later. Turns out that they didn’t do them right, putting my safety at risk. Visit D&J auto. Don’t make the same mistake that I did.

I had a great experience today working with John. I’ve been having issues with my ignition for a few weeks and John was able to get everything taken care of same day. I called in the morning to see if he had availability and he said I could stop by any time. He checked out the car and had a plan before I left the shop. He was communicative when he had to order something else and kept me posted throughout the process. I would recommend D&J Auto to anyone in the area looking for a locally operated auto service shop. I plan to go back there when future issues arise.

Made me feel comfortable from the first point of contact. Very affordable competitive pricing. My engine went down on my Ford Flex, there was oil and antifreeze everywhere. Now that my car had been repaired, it has NEVER ran better! Quiet and smooth, feels like a brand new car! I highly recommend this service, very thankful to find them!
