My mom has been there 7 years. It took her a bit to get adjusted but she finally settled in. The nurses and activity’s staff are great! There has been a few issues recently. Items were stolen from my mom’s room. They have a new director who must be heartless! My moms best friend there passed a few days ago, They want my moms room now so it can be shared by 2 men. Guess where they are moving my mom? That’s right …. To the room her best friend just passed in! And worst of all she was told if she didn’t change rooms she would be asked to leave the facility!!!!! They seem great at bulling 93 year old woman. I will be contacting the Massachusetts council for the aging to discuss what has happened here! I’m so disgusted 🤮 I wish I was able to speak on her behalf! Life is difficult enough everybo

We were able to place our mother at Daggett-Crandall close to 4 years ago. The site was recommended to us and after our initial visit we knew this was the perfect place for her to reside. Mom suffers from dementia and we really did not want to place her in a traditional nursing home. DCN places an emphasis on being a Home while still offering round the clock care which is second to none. At DCN mom has received such loving care from all the staff from the very first day we moved her there. Mom is well into her 90's and deserves a place that treats her with dignity and respect. DCN does that and so much more. Before very long you are greeted on a first name basis by all the staff when you arrive (as well as many of the residents) which is comforting. Soon too you become acquainted with

My mom was a resident in this cozy, 1-floor home for 1 year from Oct.2018 to Oct.2019. As a retired nurse I came to know many of the nurses and cna's and really valued their personal ways with my mom, appreciating her sense of humor while caring for her with superior warmth and kindness. We also had excellent help from PT and OT services. My mom and I spent many hours in the cheerful sunroom, or her spacious bedroom (which was always neat and tidy), or outside in the gardens with other residents. The food was always prepared to her liking and as my mom's health failed, the kitchen staff was willing to help her in any way they could. Since I came to know all the residents by name and also some family members, I decided to stay on as activities volunteer. Again, all the nursing staff was v

My dad has been at DCN Home for 3 years and I go everyday to visit him. I selected DCN because of their homelike atmosphere, fabulous grounds with abutting conservation land, a bright sunroom and patio. More important, they were one of the few facilities with gardening beds which they encouraged us to use. My dad has grown tomatoes, cukes, lettuce, peas, peppers, radishes and herbs. The nursing staff have been absolutely outstanding! Twice they got medical care for my dad at critical times, literally saving his life. This kind of care is priceless! The CNAs work incredibly hard yet are thoughtful, caring and dedicated to every resident. I truly appreciate each one! The chefs over the years have been terrific in meeting a variety of dietary needs and have joyfully incorporated the fre
