Not a good choice for reliable inspections or accurate information. I brought my car here for an inspection and was told both over the phone and in writing (twice) that I needed new rear brake pads and brake rotors to pass. I was quoted ~$500 for the repair. Since the price was a bit too high for me, I decided to decline and bought the parts myself. However, upon attempting the repair, I discovered my car doesn’t even use the parts they insisted I needed (rotors); it uses shoes. I found this out only after removing the tire and the drum myself. It was clear the drum had never been removed in the shop, as it was rusted shut and required some force to knock loose. When I called to explain the situation, I was told multiple times that "the computer just writes the notes that way." I knew this

They did not repair problem I needed addressed just circled around it to make another buck. Charged me over $4300 for other labor and problem still persists until I brought it to a reputable mechanic that knows what he’s doing and problem was solved immediately for a portion of what I had already spent. Had I continued with D&W, my 20 year old vehicle would have most likely cost me more in repairs than a new vehicle and then some.

Went to a chain shop who redid my whole front end after an accident. A month later I went back for inspection and they wouldn’t pass me because they claimed my front brakes were “crumbling”. I did not trust the chain shop anymore so I came here after a recommendation and explained my situation. I even told him that I would be OK if I needed new brakes… I just wanted it to be done by somebody I trusted. The shop called me about two hours later and stated that my brakes were fine and that all I needed was a new windshield wiper. They replaced my windshield wiper and passed my inspection. I had my car back in about four hours! Great service and extremely trustworthy! They could have swindled brakes out of me but they did not! They chose to be honest. My dad has known the owners for years...probably when they started! They are trustworthy and do excellent work. On a more personal level, my dad, who is quite elderly and had his license revoked needed to part with his El Camino. Dave and Wayne came and towed it from another place to their place, checked it out, told us the repairs would be more than what it was worth, and were so kind to let us keep it there until a church member came to tow it to his house to use as a project car. I was so worried I was inconveniencing them but Ruby assured me it was fine and not to work myself up about it. I can't thank them enough for that kindness!

Beware: Our tire was loosing air so we took it to Dave and Wayne's for the first time since it was close to us. Well, it will be our last... they charged us $58 to plug the tire!! We've never paid more than $15. Needless to say, we won't be returning, way too expensive!
