Daytona Toyota Service

I can’t say enough good things about my experience at the brand new Daytona Toyota! From the moment I drove up to the service lane, I was greeted by Mike and treated with genuine kindness and professionalism. My advisor, Karen went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable and informed every step of the way. I was also completely mesmerized by the beautiful new building! I even got a picture in Denny Hamlins #11!!!

RIP off! I have been a customer for years and realized that I have been overcharged for service in the past but this takes the cake. I had a routine oil change 2 months ago and they always suggest additional services… I declined but to my surprise my cabin air filter was changed. I told them I did not authorise this and they promptly took it off my bill. I noticed my AC was not functioning properly and would intermittently work. I checked the internet to see if this could be related to the air filter and all indications were yes. This went on for a while but my fan completely stopped working about a week ago so I finally brought it in advising that it was likely that the air filter was improperly installed. Each time I have had a vehicle serviced at Daytona Toyota over the past 5, or so years, they have all been very pleasant. For example, my service advisor, Steve Robinson. He has always been professional and helpful in every way... from scheduling an appointment, explaining a service, making recommendations, estimating service times and giving a reasonable out the door price.

Scheduling was easy. I arrived on time and waited 5 minutes to be seen by advisor. Checking was smooth. Told it would take 45 minutes to an hour and advisor would come and tell me when ready. Unfortunately, the Toyota desk number wasn’t recognized as a contact. So I didn’t get the text that was sent 20 minutes earlier that truck was ready.

This was my 5th service visit. Four before and during renovations. This recent visit was after renovations. Before renovations, when I pulled into the service area, someone would greet me and direct me to the service writer. Service was usually complete within 1 hour, with no extras identified. This visit, I pulled into the new service area. There was no one there. Got out and headed inside - no greeting. Wandered around until I found my service person. This service was just for tire rotation. About 1.5 hours later, service writer came out with a list of items that needed to be done - all expensive. Tire alignment and balancing, air filter, cabin air filter, and windshield wipers. It would take at least 1 more hour to complete. I declined all but the filters. It still took about an h
