The staff and owner are great to work with. Fair pricing. Super clean shop. And, they took plenty of time to go over my concerns and wants. They explain findings thoroughly and go over fixes and repairs. I will continue to use Detroit Hot Rod in the future.

Amazing and supportive staff. My Dad's MG broke down near their shop. I wasn't sure they'd fix classic British cars but they were more than willing to help. They even worked on finding an inexpensive way to tow the vehicle to their shop. In the end we decided to tow the car back to Ohio ourselves, but they still called me later to make sure everything worked out and ask if we needed any further assistance.

I bought a classic car that needed extensive repairs and made the mistake of trusting this auto shop with those repairs. They charged me for work that was never carried out and for parts that were never installed, leaving my vehicle with the original parts. They also billed me for hours spent on “research.” When I contacted Ben to address these issues, he dismissed my concerns, claiming it wasn't his fault they couldn't fix the problems, and later denied charging me for the services, despite providing proof of the charges. Their egregious dishonesty and lack of accountability lead me to strongly advise against using their services. They clearly take advantage of inexperienced customers and prioritize profit over quality or honesty.

Ben and his team are outstanding. Even tho they are a busy shop; I always feel like I'm a priority. Very responsive. I've had extensive work done to 2 vehicles so far with much more planned in the near future.
