Discount Tire

April 2025, I needed new tires. I called to get a price, was told had to order them, so we did and got them put on. I was working, so I had family member take vehicle in to get tires on. Price was significantly different but I needed a working vehicle so fine, whatever. I got my 1st look at new tires and noticed they looked low. I checked and sure enough, they didn't inflate them to recommended PSI on door panels and dash. So I had to fix them all. January 2026: one tire has a slow leak, losing about 1 PSI per day. I take it in, 6 PSI low. Kid looks at it says i have a screw (I did, he showed it to me) and we go back inside. Had online appointment so that made it easier. Nevertheless, got there at 9am and they were already pretty much packed. The attendant saw me withing the first few minutes of arrival, easy intake. 4 new wheels In/out in less than 45 minutes. Impressed. Other DT locations in the past have been long wait times for even 2 tire change so I appreciated not having to sit there for hours.

I place an online order the day before I planned to have tires installed. The tires were in stock and I was able to schedule an early morning appt. I got to Discount Tire when the doors opened and was immediately greeted by waiting staff. They got my vehicle in immediately. I was driving away inside of 30 minutes. Purchasing and scheduling online is the way to go for quicker in and out service, especially if you can get an opening hour appointment.

I’ve been going to Discount Tire for years. Always helpful & quick service. Today’s visit was for a rotation & balance. Appt at 8:15. Granted, I was dumb & chose the day before snow-mageddon to do this, so the wait was longer, but it’s overall been longer each time. Appointments only help so much. The wait time tracker is almost pointless. They (assuming driven by Corporate) book too many appointments, not leaving adequate room for walk-ins. People will arrive after me without an appt but be serviced before me. Churn & burn. Everyone is overworked. Back to my point - Somehow, they didn’t have a deep socket for my lugs. I showed up with no appointment noticing I had issues on 3 tires at the gas station nearby. Being from out of the area I drove around to a few tire places who couldn't help me, but Discount Tire Gallatin location was superb and got me back on the road again. Great customer service from the team (Bryson, Josh & Kyle, I believe were working) who were all dealing with a very stressful server crash but still did their best to help everyone. Bryson took time to show me what they had in stock and gave his educated feedback on my options. I was able to get all 4 tires replaced and be out of there within 2 hours. I appreciate them so much and highly recommend!
