Discount Tire

I visited Discount Tire in Highland, Indiana in May 2025 to have new tires installed on my vehicle. During the installation, one of the lugs was broken by the technician, and I was told it was safe to continue driving. On November 3, 2025, my tire completely detached from my car, with all of the lugs broken off. Multiple professionals who have since inspected the vehicle stated that the lugs had been over-tightened. My car—a 2017 Mercedes GLA 250 with fewer than 100,000 miles—has suffered extensive damage as a result. No one other than Discount Tire has worked on my tires. Unfortunately, I have been receiving the runaround regarding responsibility and repairs. I am posting this to warn others to be extremely cautious when having tires installed. Came to get air. Waited for a while and no one came to say anything to me. No one greeted me, told me how long the wait was, nothing. You see these young boys just moving around and moving cars in and out the garage. I even honked my horn and not one person came to assist me in the tire line. I will never go here again. Every bad review they have is believable. There needs to be some sort of training on customer service. They are negligent and do not know how to greet nor treat customers.

I’ve always had a good experience here. One employee that stands out is Chris. I have trouble with my tires and he’s quick and knowledgeable about products and services that my car needs. He always greets with a smile and again great service. I come to this location because I know I will be treated well.

You get more bang for your buck when you purchase a warranty. No issues when I have an issue with the tires. HOWEVER: Ask how long the service will take to do I made a 1015 apt for "tmps light on" i arrived at 10 am, they assessed the tires within 10 minutes and advised i would need a new pressure monitor. I prepaid for the service and was advised my estimated completion time was 1207 pm (i usually don't wait less than 2 hours). When my vehicle was not brought back into the bay by 1157. I went up and asked how long changing the sensor takes and I was told 10 minutes. I left without the service being completed. I will find a service provider who takes the customers time into consideration.
