Discount Tire

This place is fantastic. I made my purchase online and scheduled my appointment the next day. I received a call from the store to confirm which was a nice surprise. Once I arrived, they started replacing my tires right away. From start to finish was less than 45 min. Great job.

I purchased the tire certificate warranty for my tires. Scheduled the free lifetime rotation and balance. Worker stated my car needed 4 new tires since the tread reading was 4/32 in the yellow warning level on all 4 tires. So they refused the lifetime rotation/balance that I paid for. I went to a local shop and they showed me that the tires are still in good condition and that a rotation would be beneficial in to help even out the wear. Beware of this *scam* outfit if they are asking you to purchase new tires when the ones you have are perfectly fine. This shop used to be great in the past. Now I cannot recommend them to anyone.

Great service always been getting tires from this store never failed me. Fast and efficient. I always recommend to my friends and family to go discount tire.

Short version: Go to the Palatine location Long version: Discount Tire is great as a brand, but this location was unable to find a nail in my tire. They wasted my day and told me my tire was fine. Went to the Palatine location a few days later and they were able to find the nail and repair it for free. I will say, this Discount Tire was extremely busy that day while the Palatine location was nowhere near as busy, so maybe the lesson here is to avoid Discount Tire if they're too busy. The stress levels the workers are experiencing + the fact that this would have been a free repair perhaps made them ditch this job for another client who would pay for a new tire. That's just my speculation as I'm not quite sure how it's possible to miss a nail in a tire

Tim was great and helped me to Road Force balancing my Michelin PS4 on BBS LM wheels BBS. They show me the tire (got the tires set from Fitment Industries, Wi - stay away of those peoples) was not perfect despite was almost new, but using Road Force Balancing equipment they managed to solve the vibration issue. Previous shop made a mediocre job and steering wheel still vibrating in 60-70mph range. After Discount Tire balancing no more vibrations. Great job Discount Tire
