Discount Tire

I own Myrtle Beach Painters here in Myrtle Beach and I drive a ton of miles. The time had come for new tires. I knew I wanted Michelin's even though they aren't cheap. I looked all over on line and decided on Discount Tire. I hadn't used them before since my move to SC a few years ago but they will be my go to from now on. I must say I was happy with another tire chain I'd previously used but these guys were fantastic and have won over my business! First, finding the tires I wanted, paying for them and setting up an appointment were all handled on line after midnight, early this morning. SO EASY! I bought 4 new Michelin Defender LTX M/S2's for my 2014 F150 and then scheduled them to be installed TODAY! My appointment was for 2:30pm today and upon arrival, though about 5 minutes la

These guys took great care of me and (baby Ruth, my BMW X3). From the moment they met me at the door, they were kind and helpful and reasonably priced. Changed all 4 tires in and out in less than 45 mins. Gage and Jason took excellent care of me. The store is also very clean which I appreciate. Thank you

Fast excellent service. We bought 4 tires. The desk person was nice and professional too. The work was completed in 40 minutes. The waiting room is clean and comfortable. Our car drives so much better now. We will return if we need tires for our other vehicle. January 2025 update - I got a nail in the rear driver's side tire. Again, the service was fast & given with a smile, so that my tire was patched and we were out the door in 30 minutes.

Went to Discount Tires in Myrtle Beach sc near hwy 17 and hwy 544 and told them what I was needing on a tire size for my fifth wheel camper. He looked it up on his computer and asked how many did I need. I said just one today. He told me it would be about a hour and half . He asked me about some other tires that I had bought on another camper over several years ago. I was impressed that they still showed up on their computer. That's fine. They were real busy that day. I done some running and came back in a hour and a half. All fixed up. I asked if I could get the same tires when I got home cause I was planning on buying new tires all the way around when I got back home. He said know problem . Very nice people works there.

Update From 1 star review: I just moved to the beach and used this Discount Tire location for the first time. I use Discount tire exclusively for the simple fact they road force balance their tires. So to my dismay I got 4 tires installed, and not a one was road forced balanced. When I talked to the technician and asked was the tires road forced balanced he said yes. I watched the technician balancing the tires and they were not road forced balanced. I am highly disappointed. Requested service wasn't performed, and I was lied to as well. This store put a bad taste in my mouth. The take away, Gage (service writer) was awesome, but if you wanted the road force balance your not going to get the service at this location.
