Dollar Car Rental

The 2 ladies that worked the counter were so friendly, and helpful. Although I'd made prior reservations they'd sold out of compact cars. Instead they gave me an SUV, for the price of the compact. I was pleased. Their prices are extremely reasonable, and affordable. Not only will I return, but I will be sure to recommend Dollar to everyone I know.

Arrived at 8pm and another company had assured me that their agent would be waiting for my flight to arrive after hours. They were gone. Dollar had a sign posted no cars available. While waiting for my Uber, I was chatting with the Dollar agent, the only other person left in the airport that I could see. I asked if he happened to have anything left and he got me a truck for a fair price for the duration of my stay. I wish I had caught his name. He was so helpful and I was very grateful that he was there and willing to help. It was at the Augusta, GA Airport on 2/14/26 at approximately 8:30 pm. I needed to be at my event the next morning at 4:30 am. I don't know how I would have made it there without his help.

It started off a little shaky when I showed up at 7am to pick up my rental and had to wait with 4 others, as we were told there were no cars available. Finally got a car around 815am and things were smooth from there. The agent was polite, albeit a bit frustrated, as he was put in a position to bear the brunt of the unhappy customers. He got us all vehicles and was very pleasant and professional with me during check in. The car was good for the trip. The same agent was there upon return and was again pleasant to deal with.

First.. best priced rental car service anywhere! Staff were polite and friendly.. they offered direct phone number instead of calling an 800-number.. essentially offering direct service! I can honestly say Dollar Car Rental is my new go-to if I ever need to rent a car again!

Dollar car rental was one of the more affordable rentals. They had great customer service and it took less than 10 minutes to get me set up and on my way. I had no problems with the vehicle, however I would recommend them taking the time to wash it because the one I received was pretty dirty on the outside and could’ve been cleaned a little more on the inside. Over all, I do recommend them and would use them again.
