Don Payne Trucking

My family and I were evacuating to Tennessee from Savannah, GA due to hurricane Irma. I hit something in the road and it blew out two of my tires. Then, as I tried to pull over into a grassy area, I ended hitting a hidden curb, demolishing my wheel. But this was 11pm and we were still 180 miles from our destination. I was scared and anxious. My husband is a mechanic and was kicking himself for not having his tools. We had no idea where would find new tires in the middle of this night in this small town. Then I called Don Payne. I got in contact with Mr Kimble and offered us 2 tires and rims as long as my husband did the work. When asked how much we owed him, he shrugged and insisted that we not pay him much. My wife had a travel trailer get unhooked from the truck and roll backwards into a creek the runs under our driveway. It was so bad we couldn't get it out with 2 four wheel drives. After 2 hours of struggle I called Don and he came over immediately. It was very bad and he was able to get it back on the driveway with no damage! Excellent friendly service and great price!!

As difficult and frustrating it is to have to use a Wrecker Service when the time arises, Dons Wrecker Service made the Experience Easy. One of Payne’s trucks was driving extremely recklessly down 400 S today. They were following EXTREMELY close behind cars including mine. They were endangering cars around them. I had a car in front of me when they were behind me with very little distance left between us, and I had no room to change lanes. They kept changing lanes trying to pass and nearly hit a car in the process. Terrible driving.

I use Don for all my towing needs in Cleveland. Good guy and fair dealing
