I purchased my 2018 Freightliner Cascadia Evolution from Don Van Orden Equipment Locators around April 8th, 2025 in the Houston/Monterey area. The truck showed mileage readings — the dash displayed around 776688.2 miles I bought it fully expecting that, like most high-mileage used trucks, I would eventually face major repairs. I just fix dpf problem because in any high mileage for trucker or owner oparators we knew this is common issue for high mileage truck. Surprisingly, after running over 115458 miles since purchase, the motor has been absolutely solid. now today is Feb 14th 2026 I barely had to do anything beyond basic maintenance and normal wear items (brake pads, simple cleaning, etc.). Purchased a Freightliner a few months back looked great made it to interstate 45 then had a check engine light and diesel particulate filter light that ended up costing another 2 grand to fix other than that staff was nice and very low pressure to buy just a thorough test drive if you plan to purchase an 18-wheeler from here and I do know used you're going to have some issues

I purchased a freightliner from this dealership, but after I drove it 15 miles from the dealer heading home, it showed me the engine light on. I called the guy who sold me the truck, his name is Fabian, and I asked him if they could help to check it, but he ignored me. After that, I took it to other dealerships to check it, and they told me that it needs to change clutch with actuator and def filters with 2 knock sensor circuit. The estimated cost was $12000, and I texted him what happened, but he texted me that, unfortunately, he can't help me. Before I transferred the money, the guy was calling 20 times in an hour to make sure that the money was transferred, but after he got his money, he never cared. Please be careful from this dealer.

I took a driver here. The yard was very clean, and the trucks were parked very neatly. It seemed to be a quiet establishment, but it was early. They must have impeccable service. The driver was in and out the office in less than 10 mins, ready to go!

Sold me a truck with a blown head. I even bought an extended warranty but even those are garbage because they're structured so they can weasel their way out of paying for repairs. The least they could have done is come down on the price since they were selling me a truck with a bad engine. $20k I'm eating now oh and $4k for a warranty that's worthless, thanks...
