Where to begin? Bought a used 2011 Kia Sedona from Dougherty Auto Sales in September of 2016. The salesperson told me he had driven it to upstate NY and back a couple of times. He said it was a great family van, with about 85,000 miles. Well, the first check engine light came on about 6 weeks after purchase. Spark plug fouled. Another month, another check engine light. More fouled plugs. Engine clogged with sludge from poor maintenance by the previous owner. Took it to a shop to attempt to clean the sludge out. Mechanics said the engine was beyond repair, and recommended replacement. The engine eventually broke down in June, and was replaced. The vehicle had been driven by us for about 9 months.
