Excellent 55+ community with affordable homes and monthly fee. Clubhouse with outdoor pool. Great location with nearby shopping and restaurants. Friendly community with regular social events.

My mother and stepfather moved into Douglass Village back in 2016. In this 55+ community, you own the house but you rent the lot and they take care of the yards, etc. At the time the agreement stated that they would not increase the rent/fees more than 2% per year. They were paying $385/month at that time, but then in 2020 a new company, Kingsley Management Corp. took over and the agreement went out the window. They are now paying $699/month! That's approximately an 11% per year increase!! Had they stuck to the agreement, they would only be paying about $460/month. It’s a nice community, but it’s a disgrace how Kingsley Management Corp. has taking advantage of our senior citizens. They should be ashamed.

Love Douglas village. Wish your prices for a manufactured home weren't so high. It probably would be a great place to live. I think as long as I can get around and i can keep from falling.....I'll keep my house for now.

Places look nice on the insides, but they're not stick built as I prefer. These are just 2 piece modular trailers. Not a warm, welcoming atmosphere either. Location is odd. Not for me.

If you ask me it's an over priced house for a crowded community and no real attraction. The community house is still too small even though they expanded. And it doesn't have much to it. Would not choose to retire there at all.
