Driver's Edge

I brought my 1997 Porsche Carrera to Driver’s Edge in Frisco after they tightened the wheel lug nuts to approximately 245 lb-ft, well above the manufacturer spec of 96 lb-ft. This led to a broken wheel stud, multiple damaged lug nuts, and the special locking key socket cracked. I had to take it to another shop and incurred about US $796 in repair costs directly resulting from this error. I waited for their follow-up call and even visited the shop multiple times, but no one ever reached out or took responsibility for the damage. I am still waiting for Driver’s Edge to acknowledge the mistake and reimburse the costs. Attn: Ernesto Rosa (Assistant Store Manager) — contact card included in the attachments. We took our Mrs. Vintage to get an alignment. Excellent service! Their manager, Pete, was amazing & explained to us all the process. Their warranty for alignment is a very good deal.

I brought my 2020 Mercedes GLE 350 in for a routine oil change, and what should have been a simple service turned into an incredibly stressful and disappointing experience. Immediately after leaving the shop, my vehicle began blowing thick white smoke from the exhaust along with a strong burning smell. This had never happened before - not once. The issue started right after their oil service. Instead of clear answers and immediate accountability, I was left waiting and worrying. The car had to stay overnight, and I spent 24 hours stressed, unsure whether my engine or turbo had been damaged. For a vehicle like this, that’s not a minor concern. Terrible experience. Please beware! I brought my car in a few weeks ago and left with it barely running. I actually had to get it towed to another body shop. When I took it in it had 1 issue and when I picked it up 5 days later it had multiple issues with multiple warning lights on. I went in for a check engine light and they mis diagnosed the issue-okay no biggie but while trying to figure out the problem they removed computer bolts and map sensor wires were bent badly. It was drivable when we dropped it off but not when we picked it up! I was told I needed a whole new PCM costing $2,400 however I took it somewhere else to get repaired and it costed me $620. It only needed the wires that had been bend- repaired. Plus they had to flush out whatever was put in the car by driver edge,

Great service, had no problems getting my oil changed + filter replaced, 50 point check & tires rotated. Used Groupon for the service but was done around an hour after my car was turned into the shop. 5 stars for sure
