Duncaster

I am chair of the Resident Health Advisory Committee, and, as such, am privy to many aspects of life at Duncaster. I also have participated in plays and in creating courses of value for the community. Anyone can be involved to whatever level they feel comfortable with and still enjoy all aspects of life at this remarkable place.

The name of this place says it all. It makes one yern for the rolling glades of Scotland. One can only imagine the name being whispered on the wind: (Dun cass terrr). I could really go for a cottage pie right about now. I'd love a shepherds pie, but lamb is pretty expensive at the current moment. Chicken pot pies aren't as fun. Yea, they have a scrumptious crust, but I like the mushiness of the potatoes and meats. I don't need my potatoes in chunked form. If I wanted that, I would have ordered tater tots. It's a toss up which is better: tater tots or seasoned curly fries. They both are amazing, but have completely different taste profiles. Like I said: hard to choose.

Duncaster has not only provided my wife and me with a completely satisfactory fulfilling environment, they have provided a no worry about mom & pop - they are 'taken care of'.
