BEWARE OF THESE SCAMMERS! The mechanic failed to inform us that the car needed to be driven for at least 50–100 miles in order to get an accurate test result. We had just picked up the car from the port 15 minutes away after it was shipped from Germany, and told him this before the test. Despite that, he ran the test anyway and charged us for it—only afterward did he mention that the car hadn’t been driven far enough and the results wouldn’t be accurate. He then casually said that when we return, it would be the “second test” price instead of the “initial test” price. We will not be returning because we feel taken advantage of. Withholding critical information until after charging us is dishonest and a complete waste of our time and money. Shameful behavior.

The worst mechanics I’ve ever dealt with. They told me the repairs would cost over $1000. I took my car to another repair shop they repair the car for $250. EZ Smog is a clip joint. Don’t go there.

We came here and were seen right away it took no longer than 15 minutes a quick walk to target and back and I paid $65 cash out the door! ROY is amazing and thank you for everything he did for me today! Now I can go to the dmv with no issues

My first time in California, and I'm so happy that I went to this place. John was amazing! He was very friendly, had wonderful advice about the area, and walked me through what he was doing to my car. The wait time wasn't long, and I didn't feel as if my business didn't matter. Will definitely be coming back!

Great professional service. The technicians were friendly, explained procedure & answered my questions. It’s conveniently located across the street from the San Pedro DMV! I highly recommend EZ Smog in San Pedro!
