My family has been coming here for years, but we will no longer be after the last car appointment my father had. My dad went in to get an oil change, like he has for years, but this time the car slipped off the lift twice damaging the frame. He was told that this was the cars fault due to the extra heaviness and the old rusted frame. This was not the case because he had less in his car than he normally has when he comes in and the frame was not rusty. My dad is a handy man and knows about jacking a car up as he has done it before many times. He noticed that the guys put the jack onto the wrong spot twice and therefore it slipped off. He tried showing them the issue and the workers began laughing at him. They did not even apologize for denting the frame to his car or offer to pay to fix it.

. I went to East St Auto for my brakes and I couldn’t be happier. Steve ? made it a point to go over everything with me taking the time to show me what was causing the metal hitting metal issue. It was not the brakes. I did however need rear brakes as he showed me the difference in new pads and old pads. He honestly went above and beyond. The woman in the office was also so nice she was easy to talk to and helped the time pass as I waited for my car to be done. If you’re looking for an awesome hometown mechanic this is the place to go. I will definitely go back for anything that may come up in the future. Thank you East st Auto for a great experience

My mechanic and owner Gary from Berkshire Auto And Truck Repair recommended Chris at Eastside for my 2002 GMC pick up truck that needed to have welding done. It needed a little more work, but Chris called and he let me look at it and gave me a price and without hesitation I said yes go ahead. It was the best decision I’ve ever made with that truck besides taking it to Berkshire auto but Chris welded my truck Actually turned it into a one ton because it rode so nice and solid. I highly recommend him as a welder. He saved my truck.
