I recently had the pleasure of visiting East Texas Transmission for my daughter's car, and I must say, the experience exceeded all my expectations! My daughter attends East Texas Baptist University, and it's reassuring to know that there is a reliable and professional transmission service nearby. Jimmy, the transmission specialist, displayed an impressive depth of knowledge and honesty that is truly commendable. He took the time to explain every detail of the work needed and provided transparent, fair pricing. The receptionist was incredibly helpful and maintained excellent communication throughout the entire process. They made sure to keep me informed of the progress and answered all my questions with patience and clarity. From start to finish, the service was top-notch. I felt valued

I would highly recommend this shop to do your work on your vehicle! I travel for work! My truck broke down in Marshall! Jimmy did an amazing job and worked with me! I had to move locations so he took my truck to the bus stop so I can pick it up! Definitely recommend! Very nice and honest man

Check with other shops or nearby dealerships ‼️ I broke down here while visiting family. This shop told me that my transmission was bad but didn't provide a diagnostic sheet with the codes they found as proof. Said they lost it. They offered me a rebuilt transmission with a 90-day 20k mile warranty. I had my vehicle towed from this place. I got a reman transmission from a nearby dealership that offered me a 3-year 100k warranty that I can use at any dealership nationwide. Be careful.

in 2021 Mr. Jimmy did a very good job on my 2005 Silverado with replacing a reman transmission, very good people honest. . Im really recommend his work.thanks Arnie..

I broke down while traveling through the area, in the end of April, I had to leave my vehicle and was told oh yeh by the end of the week I should be able to read the codes...a week later was told oh by the end of the week...a month later, by the end of the week...finally July rolls around and I was given pricing on a couple of different repair options, a week later was given pricing on the same options, but was substantially more...if you have to go here expect it to take a long time, three months for me, and get your quote in writing the first time. 0/10, go somewhere else.
