Edmonds Import Auto

Had my 2014 mini countryman towed to Edmund’s for evaluation as it was not drivable. I asked for an estimate for a clutch and flywheel replacement over the phone and was told they would have to look at the vehicle first. Paid for a diagnoses first. Confirmed I needed a clutch replacement and flywheel. The price quoted I felt was on the high side. Also quoted over $220 for an oil service. Got two other quotes for a clutch and flywheel replacement both were significantly lower than their quote. One of the quotes was from mini dealership in Anchorage. Had the vehicle towed again to independent repair shop in Anchorage with the best quote. Edmonds was were very professional and polite. Paid $300 for the diagnosis. Difference is price is $2000 from there quote to the other shop.

We have used Edmonds import auto at least twice for our Alfa Romeo Stelvio. They are professional timely, do what they say, all service and personal interaction has been fantastic. Pricing is not bad either however if you have an import I would not go anywhere else and pay what they quote.

Our repair involved an extended warranty and Edmonds was great in working with the warranty company and kept us up to date on progress of the repair. We very much appreciated Edmonds communication with us, their quality of work done and value offered. We would definitely recommend Edmonds and will be return customers ourselves.

Edmonds took the time to understand the problems with my vehicle, explored various options with me, then worked on the solutions we chose to deliver a perfect outcome at a reasonable price. It sure helps that everyone this is friendly and has a good sense of humor. I would use them again!

I was very impressed with the knowledge, friendliness & courtesy of both front desk and mechanical staff. I explained the issues with my Toyota Tundra and the mysteriousness I was experiencing which others had previously tried to diagnose. They figured it out—timely and within the estimated cost.
