Ed's Auto Mays Landing

I had a very disappointing experience with this shop. I had Ed's do a pre purchase inspection. The owner of the car I was buying recommended them. My specific request was for them to let me know if the car I was purchasing had any rust or leaks. I also asked if any repairs were needed. Ed's took my money and reported that the car had no rust or leaks. On receiving the car, there was substantial rust to the undercarriage, the brake lines need to be replaced (and are rusted,) and the fuel lines/filter are seeping. The fuel line had been spliced and replaced with rubber tubes - none of this reported back to me. The car is not safe to drive. When I called Ed's to resolve this issue, I was told that someone would call me back. I received no call, and my calls to the shop go to a full a voice ma

The best around in mays landing. You live close you shouldn't go anywhere else. Family owned businesses and everyone was great. Fast service saw well.

If you’re looking for honest and dependable mechanics I highly recommend Ed”s. I have been going there for years. I recently brought my truck in for service and had my brakes done as well. The shop was very nice and informed me about my front suspension being worn and replaced my sway bar. This work was all done on a Saturday. My truck was done quickly and the work was excellent and fairly priced. I don’t understand the bad reviews given because I have never had any issue here and will continue to recommend .

Took my car here for check engine light. They said I needed a tune up. And oil change, (later seeing the wrong oil used for the oil change) !!!!!! Paid for that and leave engine light still on. Come back it turns out it was something else . I was able to get the part myself and returned for it to be put on. Paid that, leave. Light still on .. comeback it’s the same problem coming up on the reader..Well after returning 3 times I was told the problem “will work itself out” And “you won’t get stuck on side of the road” turns out that was wrong car shut off and was stuck on side of the road! $600 plus dollars just for no issue to be resolved ! I live really close by and I like smaller places but chosed the wrong one this time. 😓 I would say for simple things yeah give em a try & Folks ar
