I went to get an oil change, brake pad replacement, and a new battery, and I couldn’t be happier with the service. Joe was very friendly, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. He took the time to explain everything clearly, making sure I understood what was being done and why. You can really tell they care about doing things right and keeping customers happy. 2023 update: Found out this year the prices he charged us 11-months ago for a tire change were 63% above local competitors. Didn’t balance the air in the tires either. Disappointed. Thought this was a Korean family friend. — To preface: My family has been going to “Joe” the mechanic for probably over a decade now. He used to operate out of the Getty Gas Station down the road. My girlfriend works about an hour away from home so I decided to change her tires for the Winter commute. My parents recommended that I go to EERE auto repair because the owner and mechanic “Joe” is not only a family friend but a very honest man. Astonishing honesty from this guy. I think of myself as a car guy, someone who can tell what's wrong with a car. There was a speed-dependent grinding noise up front. So I thought I had a bad wheel bearing, and I even thought I could tell which side it was on - the right - because it was louder when turning left. (One of those car guy tricks) When I explained the noise and my diagnosis he seemed to think I was making sense, and I told him to go ahead and do it. But I got a call from Joe the next day after he'd had a look: it was just the dust cover for the brakes scraping against some built up rust on the rotor.
