Nice people but not very knowledgeable with 7.3 Ford Diesels. They kept replacing the fuel pump after I told them the fuel pump had been replaced twice in 6 months. I also mentioned that he put a camera down in the shaft after pulling the pump out and see if the lobe on the crankshaft that operates the pump was warn down being that the engine had almost 400k miles on it. I don't believe they took my advice. After that they replaced the fuel pump two more times and labor to boot it still wouldn't stay running after the fuel bowl went empty. Then after failing to get it running he calls and leaves me a message insinuating I hadn't changed the oil in the truck often enough. Right then and there is when I realized he was looking for a way to get his services paid for a truck that was no longer

I had heard tell of the legend and lore that is Eldorado Automotive from a seemingly endless number of locals. It was all true. I was so impressed by their genius automotive repair skills, their professionalism, their kindness and efficiency -- just wow. Dave and Sharon are spectacular humans and I should come back and live in Eldorado for the rest of my life so I can keep my car under their care. I recommend them with 100 stars!

I am so sorry to have to write this review but my experience here was not something I would want anyone else to have. We recently moved here and I was so excited to have a local Subaru expert so conveniently located and apparently beloved. I scheduled an oil change and a headlight replacement, a month in advance. I did not ever meet Dave, just the son. When I came in for my appointment the son said that I never made the appointment, that he never talked to me, and they didn’t have the part. Apparently he forgot that I came in to make the appointment. He was extremely rude to me and kept insisting “you must have talked to my dad”, as if I would not be able to tell the difference between a younger man and his dad. After a bit more abusive talk he came out and said my part was at the Suba

I had a clock spring replaced, it was $300. I was told the labor would be an hour or hour and a half. The mechanic was able to install it in about 40 minutes and was charged an hour and half labor. So their minimum is an hour and a half. Just be fore warned. The job was done.

Sharon and Dave were easy to work with. I dropped off our Outback after hours on a holiday weekend and Dave called me the next business day to give me the diagnosis. He gave me two options for the parts and explained the pros and cons. I appreciated that. Thanks for fixing our Subie!
