Took my 2014 Cadillac SRX in for an oil change today. When the service advisor called to inform me that it was done, he listed the things which the mechanic advised need servicing. Along the laundry list was a water pump replacement priced at $941.64. I found this to be interesting since Elite replaced it on 2/22/25 at a cost of $629.83. When I mentioned this, the advisor stated he didn't see any record of doing this work. I stated that I would produce the original receipt. As I was picking the car up from the oil change, I showed it to him. Here's where it went off the rails. I no longer trust their diagnosis at all. Love Elite. Dave and Elite provide great customer service and very competitive pricing. Honest and fair auto mechanic shops are hard to come by. I avoid all dealerships and take my cars to Elite.
