Enterprise Rent-A-Car

Last weekend I rented a Premium Elite SUV for what was supposed to be a two days to drive to DC for a conference. I was given an older Mercedes SUV and charged over $100 a day for the vehicle. The vehicle not only has a mild odor of smoke but the passenger window and trunk button were missing. The vehicle had not been thoroughly cleaned, nor did it have a navigation system, apple car play, or keyless entry. Overall the vehicle was extremely dated to be a luxury rental car. Because it was a Saturday and the location closed 30 minutes before pick up, I overlooked these things, however after just a few minutes of driving the vehicle started to make an odd noise and an alert on the dash indicated the vehicle was 400 miles overdue for maintenance. I got picked up and I like that she was upfront about the time she would he able to get to me rather than keeping us waiting. Car was clean and the staff were friendly. P.s they need to pay attention to the messages on the dashboard though as mine kept prompting for service.

I received great services from this location. Cindy was extremely helpful and nice. They picked me up from my location. I would recommend that they put the ez pass holder on each vehicle, oh and the vehicle low tire sign came up a few times but beside that no big issues

I rented from this location. The car broke down within a couple miles and became undrivable. I was stranded outside in the cold for about three hours waiting for Enterprise Roadside Assistance, which made me miss an important hangout and completely ruined my evening. When I finally got back to the branch, the person at the checkout made comments implying I should have purchased tow insurance, even though the vehicle failed mechanically. Instead of helping resolve the issue, it felt like I was being guilted for something that wasn’t my fault. She then charged me for the tow, even though Enterprise did not charge me for any repairs or damages. That suggests they did not consider the breakdown to be renter-caused.
