I would like to preface that this is the absolute worst location I have ever had the displeasure of trying to conduct business with. I have been using Enterprise Rent-A-Car for like 15 years. Never have I ever been refused a rental by using a debit card. This was not a lux model, it was a standard SUV. As per the company policy, a debit card may be used if the address of the renter and their license matches, is within 50 miles of the location, and you have either a utility bill or declaration of insurance from your auto insurance company. I have used my debit card for many rentals over the years, and have never been turned away for this at the Rockaway location. I’d like to start off by saying I’ve rented a car previously with Matt & my experience was great. Now for my 2nd time renting I had requested & reserved a rental online. My car had broke down, I then had to Uber to Enterprise. Just to be told “I have no cars besides a ford pickup” which would’ve ended up costing me more money if I agreed. I didn’t take it. The response of the worker there was very careless to my situation & did absolutely nothing to rectify the issue caused. I was then left stranded in the parking lot scrambling around to find myself a new rental. As I said this employee was very careless and did nothing to help me. Matt and his crew are so easy to work with. Very hard at working to accommodate you and other customers. This is not my 1st rodeo with rental cars and literally he was the most knowledgeable and accommodating manager I ever had to deal with.

I always rent from the enterprise store in Hackettstown New Jersey on route 57. Matt who is the store manager is awesome. He always has a very clean car and brand new one ready to go for me. He is amazing and so is his staff. I recommend this place for all your rental needs.
