Enterprise Rental Experience: Excellent Service, Avoid the Mitsubishi Mirage! I recently needed an economy rental car while my vehicle was being repaired and ended up at the Hickory, NC Enterprise branch (the Granite Falls location was booked). The staff deserves an A+: they were highly professional, fast, helpful, and the facility was immaculate. They efficiently handled the paperwork and got us on the road quickly. However, the specific car I received, a new base model Mitsubishi Mirage (approx. 15k miles), was a significant letdown. The driving experience was poor. The engine was noisy, road noise was excessive, and the brakes felt worryingly soft, pushing nearly to the floor before engaging. This review is for Hickory NC location. We had read negative comments about this place, but our experience was awesome due to Miranda Walker. We were checked in and checked out by the same person Miranda, who is awesome. She’s very kind and knowledgeable. She is most definitely upper management material. Someone who understands what customer service really means.

The service was exceptional and the ride (an Audi Q3) was an absolute joy to drive. Had the vehicle 5 days and loved it! The whole process was so easy! I will certainly always come to Enterprise of Hickory for all my rental car needs. Thank you for being a 5 Star outfit with 5 Star Employees!

I was assured I’d have different styles of convertibles to choose from when making my appointment over the phone with a staff member located at this store earlier this morning. That was more than wonderful since any convertible would have been fine. They called me 15 minutes before my appointment, 4 hours after the reservation was made, to tell me the style of car I had reserved wasn’t at their lot. I was already in their parking lot when the call was made so I didn’t bother to listen to it since I was about to walk in. When I asked if they could help me locate the style of car at a nearby enterprise, the gentleman at the front desk said he could look but I should just call around myself. Unhelpful.

This location was clean, friendly, and quick (which was awesome since I was in a rush). Miranda is a pleasure to work with! Super energetic, kind & thorough. I will definitely be back.
