Enterprise Rent-A-Car

Nate was courteous and professional, and made the return process seamless! He even gave me a ride back to the hotel so I didn’t miss my conference meeting! I will do business with Enterprise again thanks to Nate and the Kearney team!

Well it was not the best experience. I thought they really messed me up. But it turns out they did not. I was to go to Ft Collins from Ames. Iowa but extreme high winds and Xcel Energy shutting off tens of thousands of people,'s energy all along the Front range plus closure of my route into Ft Collins made me turn around and go to my plan B destination. When I checked the car in at my Plan B destination, without even a scratch, this Enterprise straightened it all out Kearney Enterprise did not do too badly and in fact, improved my rate which I also learned was wrong in the first place. I will recommend them. I was upset they would not issue me a receipt, but found out kater they were not authorized to do that. The true fault was with Ames. Made a reservation a week in advance for a vehicle. Had travel plans and needed a specific type of car. Got the email to check in 24 hours before pick up time. Got checked in. Then, day of rental 6 hours before pickup time, they call me to let me know they don't have that vehicle available and won't. Nothing they could do. Extremely frustrating!! Ended up having to spend extra time and money getting a different car, from a different company in Grand Island.

Make sure you do a full investigation of the vehicle they plan on renting you with your own documented proof of all existing damage. They will tell you that the damage has been captured on their report and then will charge you for the fix before you have the opportunity to review and deny that it was ever agreed to be captured. I tried to dispute the claim and they kept passing it from person to person. After over two months of them kicking the can down the road they came to their own conclusion that I was at fault for the damages after admitting that not all previous damage is always captured on their report. A friends Rental car was confirmed for today and when we showed up they told us the earliest they could pick up a vehicle was SUNDAY. After we dropped off their car to the shop. Could have used a phone call notifying us that they didn’t have anything.
