Enterprise Rent-A-Car

Got taken care of quickly. Lady reached out to me to get the rental only wish I could have gotten a similar vehicle I’m use to. This one is to annoyingly small.

Called them, asked about rentals today and pick up. Made reservation online directly after phone call, we show up at 12:30 and they’re on lunch….okay we’ll wait….an hour later they call us and tell us they don’t have ANYTHING available 🙃

Enterprise is one of the best car rental companies, but this location is embarrassing. I accompanied my mother in law here after an accident totaled her car. AAA set up the rental. The associate, whose name I don't wish to say, was dressed very nicely but lazy, to say the least. The pick-up was ok. But my mother in law (a handicapped 79 year old) senior citizen was told she needed to vacuum out the car herself during a phone call a couple of days before she was set to return it. I told her he was crazy and not to do it because it wasn't dirty at all, and not her responsibility. Of course, when we went to return the car, they were on lunch, and it was a mystery when they would be back. Oakdale people AVOID at all costs! I'd rather drive to Modesto for superior customer service! Never again!

They leave for lunch as much as 15 minutes early and come back from lunch late. That wouldn't be a problem but on an 8 hour day, they still close the office. The lunch hours aren't consistent, so some days, you go and they're at lunch at noon, others at 1:00. Just keep it consistent. The website is ridiculous. It has a line of of all the cars they offer, until you get to the site, and there's only sedans. I got lucky and they had a cross-over. Sometimes the people are professional. But other times, about half the time so far, they seem to be frustrated that you're even trying to rent a car. This is not hyperbole. If I didn't have to rent from them from time to time, I wouldn't. And as much as I rent cars, I make a point to seek out any other rental store - even if it means traveling 45 min
