Enterprise Rent-A-Car

I recently needed to go to Kentucky to take care of business and visit relatives. Since I had bring back a number of items plus enough luggage to accommodate a two week trip, I decided a large SUV would be these best way to go. After a little investigation I found prices from all the major players were similar. We decided on this Enterprise location due to location and not needing to go all the way to the airport. Reserving a vehicle was easy and the total price acceptable. The vehicle was ready to when we arrived at the pickup time. I had flashes of that Seinfeld episode but I got exactly what I reserved. I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience with Enterprise. I originally made a reservation at the Green Cove Springs location on 11/20/25. Within minutes, Olivia called to tell me they had no vehicles available and suggested I call around to other locations. I then contacted the Julington Creek branch, where Brandy—who was very pleasant—confirmed they did have a vehicle and completed my reservation over the phone. However, while I was already on my way to pick up the vehicle at 7:15 a.m., I received a call from a gentleman at that same location informing me they not only didn’t have my vehicle, but they didn’t have any vehicles available. The staff at the Saint Johns Julington Creek branch are very friendly and efficient. I don't know his name, but there's a young man of Ecuadorian descent who works there; they should definitely have more people like him. The rental process is very good and simple, and the quality of the vehicles is excellent. Highly recommended.

I wish I could give them something less than 1 star. I made a reservation, which was confirmed on-line, then 24 hours before pickup I got a voice mail telling me there were no cars available. I called the Enterprise number, which is a corporate switchboard, and after navigating menus for a few minutes a very pleasant young lady told me she would have 'the team' get busy finding a car and they would get back to me to make sure I had a car for my requested pick-up time. 48+ hours later, and a full day after I wanted to pick up the car..... NOTHING!! Other rental sites at least will tell you on-line they have nothing available on the date / location you want to pick up, but apparently that technology has escaped Enterprise. My recommendation..... avoid Enterprise!

DON'T RENT FROM THE ENTERPRISE CAR RENTAL AT 456 STATE ROAD 13, ST. JOHNS, FL 32259. I rented a car there on December 8th, 2025, and returned the car on December 15, 2025. I called their office at 1pm on Dec 15 to confirm there would be someone available to give me a ride home due to the items I had to unload from the car. Enterprise promotes in their advertising that they will pick you up and drop you off when you rent from them. I was assured by DESTINY CRUZ, the assistant manager, that there would be someone available for a ride as long as I arrived by 5pm. I arranged my entire day around the 5pm arrival time, and upon arrival at 4:55pm, I was told by the Assistant Manager, DESTINY CRUZ, that no one was available to give me a ride home.
