Enterprise Rent-A-Car

Enterprise has knowledgeable and friendly employees. Customer service is easily accessible and they answer their phones when you need to call the actual store that you rented from. Unlike Other rental companies I have never had a problem at Enterprise. I’ve rented from them at least six times in the last several years for trips or for the day when my personal car was getting maintenance.

We rented from Enterprise through Costco, picked up our vehicle at the Tampa airport. It’s a 22 day rental. The 3rd day of driving the car, the change the oil light came on. This morning, the tire pressure warning came on. We have this car 15 more days so we called the Venice location and were told we would have to drive it back to Tampa because they don’t have any inventory. Not the customer service we have experienced previously. Disappointing! Tampa is a 90 minute drive each way…not very convenient

I only use Enterprise. Why? Your employees are empowered to delight me. This specific rental was no exception. Flew (my airplane) into the Venice Fl airport. Car was delivered and waiting for me. No one tried to up sell me for anything. Car was spotless, topped off and cigarette smoke free. The next day I received a personal call from (Elon)? making sure I was good. I needed to extend, and it was seamless in the app. Upon my departure I simply parked, handed key to girl at the counter in the airport and flew home. Only complaint is your prices are too high.

UPDATE: I did as Lynette instructed and ZERO CONTACT from the management team. Renters, this should tell you everything you need to know... it's not about the customer, but rather the profit margin. So sad, because I was as loyal as they come. Not anymore, go across the street to Avis, FAR BETTER experience. This rating of a 1 is strictly for the Venice Florida location, ONLY. I rented a vehicle; and the tatted up young man at the front desk said, "Well I'm gonna bump you up at no extra charge" It was a Jeep Grand Cherokee, parked behind another car and against a back wall/curb. Mind you, I am on a time constraint and if it's too good to be true, RUN AWAY! I am 4 miles from home and the rear suspension light comes on "Service Needed" and then it starts locking up and at take-off, K

Expensive and they increase their rates per day during season. Was paying $67 a day for a compact vehicle and found another rental for half cheaper. Returned it to the venice location and had to wait 20 minutes for a ride (less than a mile down the road) to get my car. Three people working and not busy but no one could drive me. Customer service is POOR!!!!
