Enterprise Rent-A-Car

My first experience was not great. I called the national number to book a specific vehicle. I was looking for a Jeep. I was told that my local Murray KY company had multiple in stock only to arrive and they laughed at me and had none. I ended up going on vacation with a friend and decided to pick up my rental at a different location. I had a reservation to pick up a vehicle at the Monroe Louisiana location when I arrived there was one customer service person working and about 13 people waiting in the lobby. We decided to come back once the crowd cleared out …well that didn’t happen and when we came back two hours later, it was still just as busy. The customer service person put me in the oldest vehicle possible, and I was not comfortable traveling in it so I asked for something different.

I have unfortunately dealt with this place in every way. I’ve sat in the waiting area for over a hour to be placed in a rental even though having appt. While sitting there listening to the phones ring and ring and ring with no one answering. They walk around with a phone and don’t answer it. The way the staff speak to customers like the customer is bothering them it’s ridiculous. You definitely don’t want these people trying to explain something to you. Also, don’t worry about filling your rental back up because they charge you for 2 gallons regardless according to the manager.

The price was mid but the service was worth the extra rates. The gentleman helping me was amazing! He was so busy and all by himself. It was a highly stressful situation for me and even when I got overly stressed about a surprise 300$ deposit that I had not been aware of before pick up, he kept his cool and was very kind and patient. I have no idea how much he makes but probably is not enough! Watched him for an hour while waiting for my car and the amount of attitude he had to deal with and he did so beautifully! If I had the money, I would have tipped that youbg man just for being kind 😇

I rent here every week to every other week. Nice folks that work here but don’t know how to clean cars and make them presentable for working professionals like myself. I rent car sometimes 250 days out of the year and it’s apparent when quality is important and it’s not here. 11/9: This place is appalling. On November 9, 2024 I had a reservation for 12p at Enterprise West Monroe at 1919 Cypress St. I called multiple times in advance, and it was forwarded to a fax machine. I arrived there at noon and the doors were already locked. I spoke to the car detailed in the back and informed them of my reservation. Still no one greeted me or let me in to be assigned the vehicle. I noticed young appearing female employee named sitting outside in a running car who identified herself as, Kayla Harris.

Had two experiences renting a car in West Monroe. First one in July was great, no issues! Second experience in August, not so much. After a few days of having the rental, an oil change maintenance light popped up. When I called Enterprise, I was told that I would have to go take the car MYSELF to get oil changed… which I didn’t have to pay, if I did i would’ve refused. This was inconvenient for me since I drive all over for work and don’t have much spare time to wait to have an oil change. Would have been a better experience if the car was checked/maintained before receiving, it would’ve saved a lot more time.
